A phenomenal attempt made to popularise Ayurveda by legendary late M.K. Kunhiraman Vydiar in 1915 led to the foundation of this establishment. The renowned physician has authored a number of books on Ayurveda and had been accredited with starting of the first Ayurveda College and manufacturing unit in North Malabar.
The rich pioneering spirit was passed on to his son, Dr. U. K. Pavithran (our Managing partner) who took upon himself to take Ayurvedic Medicine into the realm of Scientific Research, Development and Production. To meet this burgeoning demand for our products from both home and abroad, in 1988 a state of the art manufacturing plant was established.

Our unit is accredited with ISO 9001:2000 certification and has been awarded with Good Manufacturing Practices (G.M.P) Certificate, the first in Malabar.
